The Stainless Steel tanks offer no corrosion as compared to carbon steel tanks which is prone to corrosion and contamination of air due to rust powder. Moisture and most other contaminants do not affect the Stainless Steel, especially when it is passivated after manufacturing. Although the mill finish is acceptable to many, bead or other media blasting gives a smooth and uniform appearance to the finished product, requiring no paint. For complete protection, all components of the Air receiver Tanks like supports and other items are also made of stainless steel.
