R.I.F , offer Maxitorq high performance Electromagnetic Normally Off type or Positve Brakes. These brakes are power ON brakes, such that the braking takes place, when DC voltage is applied to the brake. In absence of power supply the brakes remain Off.

These brakes are extensively used in Textile machines, like Looms and Warping machines, Coil winding machines, Special purpose machines, Packaging Machines, Machines tools like Lathe machines etc.

  • Stable – Epoxy resin bonded vibration proof coil. Zero-backlash Armature with finger spring release. Slotted Armature for greater torque stability. Pre-loaded Armature spring for residual torque free release.
  • Fast – High operating frequency, low inertia, fast uniform response time.
  • Torque range from 0.7 Nm to 2,000 Nm
