Description:
Dubai Drydock World has got contract for Refurbishment of FAIRBANK FPSO.
For this project, Dubai Drydocks awarded work to Rams International FZE after evaluation of Capabilities, long Technical discussions, Commercial negotiations. The contract work included Designing, Technical Approval, Manufacturing and Supply of Expansion Tanks, Buffer Tanks & Dosing Tanks for Hot Water Systems, Chilled Water System for a Centralized HVAC System on board of FAIRBANK FPSO.
The Equipment were under DNV Marine & Offshore Apporval (DNV/UKCA/CE)
Salient Features of the Project
- 3.2 Certified Material
- Lab Testing of the Materials
- Approval of Welding Procedures as per DNV Standards
- Welders Qualification as per DNV Standards
- Testing of the Welding by Approved NDT Testing Methods as per Standards
- PMI ( Positive Material Identification) as per project requirement
- Strict Quality Control by QC Inspectors appointed by Manufacturers and Contractors. DNV Inspectors were appointed for this job.
Material of Construction:
- Expansion Tank: Carbon Steel SA516 Gr70 (Capacity 500Lt, 350Lt & 100Lt)
- Buffer Tank: Carbon Steel SA516 Gr70 (Capacity 1000Lt)
- Dosing Tank: SS316 (Capacity 40Lt, Capacity 25Lt)
- Bladder: Butyl Rubber (Capacity 500Lt, 350Lt & 100Lt)
The Task of Design, Manufacturing & Supply of Expansion Tanks, Buffer Tanks & Dosing Tanks as per End User’s Technical Requirement and complying to DNV Standards. This work was completed and Equipment delivered successfully to our End Customer.
